Science Department is an Academic department that is structured to offer three disciplines under it. Science provides the foundation of both scientific literacy that are essential components of a broad education for all students. In addition, the school’s coursework establishes and emphasises depth of disciplinary knowledge as well as connections between and among disciplines.
Disciplines offered include Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Of the three, Chemistry is compulsory for all students while Biology and Physics are electives. A student can be enrolled in at least two of the three disciplines.
Being a stem school, Naivasha Girls prides itself as a consistent participant in Kenya Science and engineering fair having presented projects that made it to National levels since 2012. This has Made Naivasha Girls be recognized as a STEM Centre by CEMASTEA. The School has a dedicated room that incubates science projects as well as hosting science projects that have made to national competitions.
